Ameet Satam Always works hard for the development of Andheri Residents as well as the better future of Maharashtra. Ameet Satam is the Human Resource Professional to MLA of Andheri. Worked as an Executive Assistant to Late Shri Gopinath Munde, former Dy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Worked as President of BJP in Amboli Vidhansabha. Worked as General Secretary of BJP Youth Wing for Mumbai region from June 2008 to Oct 2010. Worked as President of BJP Youth Wing for Mumbai from Dec 2010 to Sept 2013. Elected Municipal Councilor for Ward 62 since Feb 2012. Chairman – K West Prabhag Samiti 2013-14. Completed Management Studies [MMS] in PERSONNEL from Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Institute of Management Studies & Research [MGMIMSR], Navi Mumbai, the University of Mumbai in the year May 2000.Completed Graduation in Arts with Political Science & Sociology from Mithibai College of Arts, Vile Parle, the University of Mumbai in the year 1998. I decided to take up politics full time. It was not an easy decision to make. Coming from a middle-class family, I knew I had a tough task to convince my parents. My father is a retired banker and my mother, a retired state government official. Why would a post-graduate in management want to join politics? However, I was determined, because I firmly believe there is no better platform to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people from all walks of life, cutting across caste, creed, and religion and since then my journey has begun…. The fear of my parents’ gradually changed to support when they saw me turn path-breaking ideas into reality. My documentary on global warming, ‘VASUNDHARA’ found support from civic activists, celebrities and common people alike. It was appreciated by the United Nations and I was selected for the International Visitors Leadership Program of the U.S. Government.
